Richard W. Kurtz 96, passed away August 18, 2014. Born to the late George and Annie Kurtz in Lehigh, Pa. Richard was preceded in death by his wife Mary A., son Harry Tiller, William Tiller, and daughter Patsy Neisz. He is survived by his son Kenneth L. Tiller and wife Debbie, Grandson Matthew and Granddaughter Victoria. Grandson Richard W. Neisz and wife Elaine, Great granddaughters Kristen and Rachel and Great Grandson Joseph. Grandson Bruce Tiller and Daughter-in-law Lucille Tiller. Grandson William D. Neisz and wife Maxine, Great Granddaughter Madison.
Mr. Kurtz was a World War II veteran, and member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. Mr. Kurtz was retiree of Dupont.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society or The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
There will be a memorial service on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at Imperial Plaza at 11:00am. A graveside service will be held later that day at 1:30 p.m. at Westhampton Memorial Park, 10000 Patterson Ave. Richmond, VA 23238
