Ruth Evelyn Hague Harris

HARRIS, Ruth Evelyn Hague, 94, passed away on October 3, 2015. She was the daughter of the late Reuben and Florence Hague. Ruth was an office manager for many years in the printing business at W.M. Brown and Son, Standard Duplicating Machine Agency, and Leake Printing Company.

She is survived by her loving husband of 73 years, John Hunter Harris; two sons, John Edward Harris (Diane deceased), and Raymond Hunter Harris (Trish); one granddaughter, Kelly Elizabeth Harris Eagan (Chris); and one cousin, Delores McKee.

During her lifetime, she belonged to the Third Presbyterian Church and Sunset Hills Baptist Church. She graduated from Highland Springs High School in 1938 and attended Smithdeal Massey Business School.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 6, from 6:00 – 8:00pm at Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd. Richmond. Graveside services will be on Wednesday, October 7 at 2:00pm at Greenwood Memorial Gardens, Hillside Mausoleum, 12609 Patterson Ave, Richmond.
