With submission to God’s will, and with great sadness, we announce the passing of Mr. Salim Fayez Eljaouhari.
It is with heavy hearts that our family announces the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother. Born in Lebanon, Salim lived a remarkable life defined by love, generosity, and an unwavering devotion to his family.
Salim was the truest example of selflessness. A kind and humble man who dedicated himself to raising his family with integrity, values and culture.
He found peace and joy in life’s simple blessings. His happiest moments were with everyone around the table and his presence filled our home with warmth, comfort, and love.
At 82 years old, he left this world surrounded by those who cherished him the most; leaving behind a legacy of strength, compassion, and unity that will live forever in our hearts.
He is survived by his wife, Nabiha Eljaouhari; his son Mazen Eljaouhar, with his wife Leilani Franklin; his daughters, Maggie Eljaouhari, Nancy Yehia with her husband Anwar Yehia, Rihab Eljaouhari, with her husband Afif Eljaouhari, and Sarah Eljaouhari; and his grandchildren: Nour, Bashar, Sireen, Siraj, Lamees, Faiz, Salim, Adam, Mireille, Karam and Zaiyn.
The Funeral will take place on:
Monday, October 13th at 1 PM, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N Parham Rd. Henrico, VA 23229.
Burial is at:
Westhampton Memorial Cemetery at 2 PM, 10000 Patterson Ave, Henrico, VA 23238.
