Sid was born May 9, 1947 in Richmond, VA to Sidney S. Noell Jr. and Eleanor Watkins Noell. Sid served in the United States Navy. He was employed for many years by MEM Interiors, Inc. of Mechanicsville, Virginia. Sid enjoyed spending time both in the mountains and at the beach, but most of all he loved spending time with his family.
Sid is survived by his son, Sidney S. “Shaun” Noel IV, daughter-in-law, Jessica Parks Noell, grandson Seth Noell, granddaughter Summer Noell, and brother-in-law Stan Minson of Rock Hill, South Carolina. He also leaves behind his beloved dogs, Jack and Daisy, and cat, Lucky. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney and Eleanor, and his sister, Deeni Noell Minson of Rock Hill, South Carolina.
Visitation will be held Saturday, May 19th 3:00 - 6:00 pm at Woody Funeral Home, 1771 North Parham Road, Richmond, Virginia. The funeral service will be Sunday, May 20, 2018 at 4:00 pm at Woody Funeral Home. Interment will follow on Monday, May 21, 1:00 pm at Greenwood Memorial Gardens, 12609 Patterson Avenue, Richmond, Virginia 23238.
