Walter served in the U.S. Air Force as well as the National Guard. He worked for Wilson trucking and more recently the County of Henrico. Walter graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1971. Later in life he enjoyed spending time with his family, walking through nature, and watching sci-fi shows and movies.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Kathleen Harris; his brother Les Clements; his grandchildren, Samuel and Cory Dollins; and 3 great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service time. A funeral service for Walter will be held Saturday, June 3, 2023 at 3:00 PM at Woody Funeral Home-Parham, 1771 North Parham Road, Richmond, VA 23229. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
