He is survived by his son, William V. McNemar III of San Francisco, California, daughters, Sara L. Palik of Mechanicsville and Peggy G. Liddle of Richmond, 7 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
He was born in Logan, West Virginia on December 27, 1922, to Helen and William V. McNemar, Sr., he was a graduate of West Virginia University, a U.S. Army Veteran, a Scottish Rite Mason, Retired Federal Judge, and member of River Road United Methodist Church.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 10, from 6 to 8pm at the Parham Chapel of Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Road. Services will be held at 11am, on Wednesday, July 11, at the funeral home. Interment Westhampton Memorial Park.
