Willie Edward Butler III

Willie Butler, 44, a devoted husband, father, and son, passed away due to natural causes on January 28, 2026. He was born in Ancon, Panama and graduated from Woodbury High School. In 2005 he met the love of his life, Tina, and they were together for 20 years. To this union, a beautiful baby girl was born, Isabella, and her father worshipped the ground she walked on. His family was his true passion.

Willie loved all sports, but he was a loyal fan of all the Philadelphia sports teams.

Willie is survived by his wife, Tina; mother, Sulyma DeSosa; father, Willie Butler II; his daughter, Isabella; and step son, Zachary. He leaves behind his Uncle Eder Zambrano (Joi), whom he had a special relationship with; Aunts Mitzi and Mayda; many cousins; numerous childhood friends in NJ; and friends from his career at Horizon Forest Products & Lowes.

We ask close family and friends to join us at Woody Funeral Home, 1771 North Parham Road, Richmond, VA 23229 on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at 2pm to grieve, support each other, and celebrate Willie's life.
