Altus Ray Ratliff, 86, of Ridgeland passed away on Tuesday, July 15th 2014. Funeral services will be held at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home Friday, July 18th at 11:00 a.m. with visitation beginning at 10:00a.m.
Mr. Ratliff was a native of Walthall County, a longtime member of Broadmoor Baptist Church and a retired veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He enjoyed being a part of the Broadmoor Men’s Coffee Club as well as his membership with the Jackson Men’s Garden Club.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Lydumah Ratliff, his two children, Stanley Ratliff of Tucson, AZ and Susan Laney of Flower Mound, TX. He is also survived by his granddaughters, April Whiddon of Allen, TX, Erin Schweitzer of Flower Mound, TX, Elizabeth Oates of Fort Worth, TX, Katie Ratliff and Marlena Ratliff of Tucson, AZ, and his great-grandson Landon Kerkmaz of Allen, TX.
