Antoinette Neely Sekul was born December 3, 1947, in Jackson, Mississippi, and passed away February 23, 2026, at the age of 78. She was a resident of Jackson, Mississippi. Antoinette will be remembered as a devoted Catholic woman whose faith and steady presence shaped the life she lived and the legacy she leaves behind.
Antoinette earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and dedicated her professional life to caring for others as a nurse. Her last position was with the Plastic Surgery Center, where she continued her work with the same professionalism and commitment that marked her career.
Antoinette loved cats and found deep meaning in her faith community. She loved her church, St. Richard Catholic Church, and remained steadfast in her devotion.
Antoinette is survived by her sister-in-law, Barbara Neely; nephews, William T. Neely III and David R. Neely; grand nephews, Patrick I. Neely, Andrew O. Neely, and William C. Neely; and grand nieces, Eva A. Neely and Hope K. Neely. She is also survived by her former husband, Ronald Sekul.
She was preceded in death by her father, William T. Neely; her mother, Mamie Louise Sledge Neely; her brother, William T. Neely, Jr.; and her son, Ronald Christopher.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on March 6, 2026, at Parkway Memorial Cemetery, Trinity Mausoleum, 1161 Highland Colony Pkwy, Ridgeland, Mississippi 39157.
