Barbara was born in Boston, Massachusetts on October 23, 1945 to Barbara and Al Major. She attended Murrah High School.
Barbara married Jerry Horton and together they one child, Trevor Horton. She has worked in many different areas over the years due to her varied interests. She was a people person first and foremost, as she never met a stranger. Barbara (Babs) is survived by her husband Jerry, her son Trevor and his wife Pam Horton. Also her sister Martha (Maj) Perkins, and her brother Alex Major. She was predeceased by her mother, Barbara Major and her father, Al Major.
Funeral services will be held at Lakewood Memorial Park on Tuesday, March 7th at 4pm.
Memorial donations may be made in Barbara’s name to Madison United Methodist Church.
