Bill went to be with the Lord on June 12. Visitation will be at Parkway Funeral Home in Ridgeland on Sunday, June 14, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. A memorial service will be held Monday in the Chapel at First Baptist Church of Jackson at 1:00 pm.
Mr. Butler was born April 9, 1928 in Little Rock, AR to Grace Lee Bishop and Edward Ray Butler. His entire professional career was with McKesson and Robbins Wholesale Drugs. After retirement, he enjoyed working and exercising at Baptist Health Plex.
Bill was an active part of the Reflection’s Choir and the Explorer’s Bible Class at First Baptist Church of Jackson.
He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Magalee; daughters, Brenda Butler and Barbara (John) Summer; step-granddaughter, Misty Summer; and best four-legged friend, Beau.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Reflections Choir at FBC, Jackson.
