Celia Renee Purser, 61 years old, of Brandon, Mississippi, passed away on May 18, 2017. She was born in Brookhaven, Mississippi, on March 9, 1956 to Elsie Cambre and Robert Seale Purser, Jr. She was a graduate of St. Joseph Catholic School in Jackson, Mississippi.
Celia derived much enjoyment as a caregiver for the Torres family (Matthew, LeAnna, Patrick, William, and Juju). She also found great peace from the loving parishioners at St. Paul Catholic Church in Flowood, where she attended services frequently. Celia is survived by her beloved daughter Jessica and son-in-law Jon Korlath as well as her brothers Chris Purser and Geoff Purser and their families.
Funeral services will be held at St. Paul Catholic Church on Tuesday, May 23 at 10:00AM. Visitation will be held at the same location on Monday, May 22 from 5:00PM until 7:00PM with a Prayer service to follow, and visitation on Tuesday at 9:00AM immediately prior to the funeral service. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Brookhaven, MS at 12:30PM.
