
Flora was born in Wren, MS on May 5, 1939 to Cora and Frank Wamble. She attended Wren High School, where she was valedictorian of her graduating class. After high school, she studied at MUW, majoring in art and later received her Master’s Degree in Art from Mississippi College.
Flora was married William “Bill” Garland Wills, III and together they had one son, William “Gary” Garland Wills, IV. She worked as an art teacher for over 30 years. In 1991, she was awarded Teacher of the Year by Gov. Ray Mabus for the state of MS. Flo had a love for adventure, art, exploring, traveling, and her dog, Mr. Chan. She was a proud member of Christ United Methodist Church in Jackson, MS for many years. After moving to Madison, she attended Broadmoor Baptist Church. She was very active in both churches, attending Sunday school and fellowship groups, and was a member of the choir. She was one of the kindest people, a strong Christian, and she cherished her friends and family, especially her granddaughter.
She is survived by her son, William “Gary” Garland Wills, IV, and granddaughter, Ainsley Camille Wills.
Funeral services will be held at Parkway Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 28 at 11:00 am. Visitation will be held prior to the funeral service at Parkway Funeral Home from 10:00 to 11:00 am.

Flo was blessed to have such great friends, family, and caretakers in her life.
