

Jackson, MS- Our sweet mother, grandmother and Gigi, Frances Abraham Hederi, got her promotion on Monday, March 27, at the age of 102. She is now rejoicing in the loving arms of Jesus, a place she has wanted to be for a long time.
Frances Hederi, a long-time resident of Jackson, MS was born in Tyler, Texas, on April 23, 1914. She married her husband of 56 years, Emile Francis Hederi, on December 28, 1939 in Dallas. Frances was a proud homemaker and loving mother to her four children and though small in stature, she was filled with much wisdom and faith. Her laugh added a joyful sound to any room and she was loved by all. Frances was a talented artist who loved to paint, and was also an avid and skilled golfer, adding a hole in one to her accomplishments when she was 92 years old. She truly loved the sport and it gave her much enjoyment.
Visitation will be from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 29, at Parkway Funeral Home in Ridgeland, Mississippi. Funeral service will be held at 1:00, in the chapel, with burial following at Parkway Memorial Park Mausoleum.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Louisa Anton Abraham, husband, Emile Hederi, three sisters, Sophie Abraham, Tillie Abraham, and Mary Ackels, two brothers, Joe Abraham and Sam Abraham and three great-grandchildren, Conner Lind, Tyler Lind and Preston Lind.
Mrs. Hederi is survived by her children, Paul (Donise) Hederi, of Niceville,FL, Diane Hederi Neyland, and Patrice Ann Hederi both of Madison, MS, and Janet Hederi Broughton of Jackson, MS.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Miller Hederi, Jack Hederi, Lauren (Barry) Tadlock, Jennifer Lind, Chris (Kimberly) Neyland, Stacey (Chris) Archer, William (Blair) Martin, and Frances (Blake) Bankester. Mrs. Hederi is also survived by 15 great grandchildren. Jordan Thigpen, Taylor (Caitlin) Thigpen, Jonathan Tadlock, Brooklyn Hutchinson, Ally Harper Neyland, Christopher Neyland, Michael Larkin, Kathryn Larkin, Lauren Archer, Rachel Archer, Clay Archer, Ellie Martin, William Martin, Brooke Bankester and William Bankester.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
The family of Frances Hederi would also like to extend our sincere thanks to Diane, Queen, Oria and Denise for helping ensure her comfort and peace in these last months of her life.
