Fred was born in Bangor, Maine on October 22nd, 1941 and was raised by Barbara Witherspoon Alton and David Bell. Fred served in both the Navy and the Coast Guard. Fred married Deidra Barrett and together they had five children, Rick and Steve Bell, and Joel and Joshua Culp, and Doni Brooks. He also had six grandchildren, Camden and Kimsey Bell, and Destiny, Ava, and Nina Brooks, and Helena Culp. He was preceded in death by his son, Rick.
Fred was retired and enjoyed spending time with his Yorkies, visiting with friends, and traveling.
Funeral services will be held at Parkway Funeral Home in Ridgeland Mississippi on June 4th at 4:00 pm. Visitation for Fred Bell will be held at Parkway Funeral Home on June 4th from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
Memorial donations may be made in Fred's name to St. Dominic's Health Services Foundation, the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra, and Operation Shoestring.
