

Mrs. Janice Stocks Duff, 78, passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2011 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. A funeral service will be held at 10 AM Wednesday at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home in Ridgeland with entombment in Trinity East Mausoleum at Parkway Memorial Cemetery in Ridgeland. Visitation is 5-7 PM today and 9-10 AM Wednesday, all at the funeral home.
Mrs. Duff, a faithful member of Lakeside Presbyterian Church, was born December 1, 1933 in Decatur, IL to the late Errol L. and Ferne Stocks. She graduated from Mt. Zion High School in Mt. Zion, IL, and from Millikin University in Decatur, IL, where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi Sorority. Mrs. Duff was an avid golfer and bridge player and loved needlework. She was also a volunteer at River Oaks Hospital in Flowood, MS.
Mrs. Duff was preceded in death by her parents, and by her husband, Jack D. Duff. She is survived by her daughter, Teresa Coalter (Jay) of Brandon; brother, Bill Stocks (Janet) of Dalton City, IL; sister, Patricia McDonald of Mt. Zion, IL; brother in law, Terry Havlin of Indiana; and sisters-in-law, Sharon Gee (Larry) and Jennifer Wagner (Merle), both of Bloomington, IL. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Katelyn and Megan Coalter of Brandon; along with numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
