Mrs. Judith Watkins, 69, passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at Baptist Hospital after a hard fought battle with cancer. Visitation is Friday, April 11, 2014, 5:00pm to 7:30pm at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home, Ridgeland. Services will be held in the funeral home chapel Saturday at 2:00pm with a visitation one hour prior. Interment to follow at Parkway Memorial Cemetery.
Widowed by the love of her life, David, and amazing mother of two sons; Mrs. Watkins spent most of her life here in Mississippi yet loved to travel. She graduated from Central High in Jackson and attended MSCW. Having worked and retired from BellSouth, she spent as many days as she could at the beach.
She is preceded in death by her husband, David Watkins; parents, James and Vada Smith; and brother, Wallace Smith.
She is survived by Scott and Trent Watkins, her loving sons; as well as her step-daughter Heather (Andy) Gamble, and grandchildren Kayla and David Gamble.
