Julia George, age 85, of Madison, Mississippi passed away on Monday, December 13, 2021. Julia was born November 15, 1936 to Robert C. and Nellie Coates George. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 16, 2021 from 1:00 until 2:00 pm at Parkway Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 with Rev. Josh Kinsley and Rev. Greg Kinsley officiating. A private interment will follow at Cedarlawn Cemetery in Jackson.
Julia was preceded in death by her parents and siblings. Remaining behind to cherish her memory are her brothers, Robert C. George, Jr and wife Sarah, and Alan George and wife Ann; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and friends.
