Maggie Beckham Gore, 88, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2013 at her daughter's home. Visitation will be 3-5pm Saturday, June 1, 2013 at Wright Ferguson Funeral Home in Ridgeland. Funeral services will be 3:00pm Sunday, June 2 at Wright Ferguson with visitation at 2 pm.
She was born in Neshoba County, Ms and lived for many years in the Singleton community of Leake County. She lived with her daughter and son-in-law for the last 20 years in Kansas City, Mo and in Madison.
Mrs. Gore was preceded in death by her husband, Adam Gore, her parents, Lois Chunn Beckham and Lonnie P. Beckham, and nine brothers and sisters. She is survived by a loving and devoted daughter, Ruth Gore Eakin and son-in-law, Jerry Eakin, brother, James Beckham of Florence and a host of nieces and nephews.
She leaves a legacy of love and devotion to her family and friends. She will be dearly missed and remembered for her passion for growing beautiful flowers.
