Margie “Mimi” L. Valentine, 85 passed away Wednesday May 25, 2011 at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson after a year-long battle with cancer. Services will be 12:30pm Friday May 27, 2011 at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home in Ridgeland, preceded by visitation at 11:00am.
She was preceded in death by her husband J. Harold Valentine; daughter, Margaret V. Doolittle; and granddaughter, Stacey Ann Doolittle. She is survived by her daughter Patsy R. Valentine of Arlington, TX; granddaughter, Anna D. Crabtree (Duck) of Pelahatchie, MS; brother, George M. Ledlow (Lonnie) of Jackson, MS; and many other family members.
She retired from the MS State Board of Health after 35 years of service.
