Mary Elizabeth Dawkins "Libba" Rimmer, 92, died Friday September 9, 2011 at Hospice Ministries. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Monday September 12, 2011 at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home on Highland Colony Parkway in Ridgeland, preceded by visitation at 11:00am. Burial will be in Lakewood Memorial Park.
Libba was a longtime member of Alta Woods Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James "Jimmy" Rimmer.
Survivors include daughter, Betty Cooley (Ken) of Brandon; son, Bo Rimmer (Leslie) of Clinton; eleven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to French Camp Academy, One Fine Place, French Camp, MS 39745.
