Maude Maxine Palmer was born in Harrisville, MS on
September 6th 1925 to Vesta and Dudley Garrett. She attended
Harrisville High and Nursing School at Baptist Hospital.
Maude Maxine Garrett married Clarence Abel Palmer, and
together they had 3 children, Clifford, David and Richard. She
worked as Assistant Director of Nursing at UMC. Maxine was also
a member of First Presbyterian Church Jackson. Mrs. Maxine is
survived by her sons; Clifford, David and Richard, a sister,
Joanne Garret Clement and was predeceased by her husband;
Clarence Abel Palmer.
Funeral services will be held at First Presbyterian Church Jackson
on Monday, July 19, 2015 at 10 am with burial to follow at Lakewood
Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation for Maude Maxine Palmer will
be held at Parkway Funeral Home from 3-5pm on Sunday, July 19, 2015.
