Michael Sam Naples

Michael S. (Mike) Naples, 55, of Madison, Mississippi, passed away on Sunday, September 25th. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 28th, at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m., followed by funeral services, also at the funeral home, at 11:00 a.m.

Mike was born in New Castle, PA, and received a B.S. in Engineering from the University of Cincinnati. He was employed by the federal government for thirty-three years working as an engineer in the office of Veterans Affairs. Mike enjoyed boating, caring for his four dogs, but he most loved caring for those who surrounded him. He was adored by everyone he met, and will be remembered for his charismatic, uplifting demeanor and his overwhelming love and devotion to his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife and best friend, Elizabeth (Libbie) Wright Naples and his much-loved daughters, Jamie and Kelley. He is also survived by his mother Marie Naples of New Castle, PA, as well as his brothers Andrew and Sam, and sisters Joanie (Bott), Michelle (Myers), and Amy (Hoyt), and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded by his father Sam M. Naples and nephew Lee Myers.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in memory of Michael to Grace Chapel Presbyterian Church at 307 New Mannsdale Rd., Madison, MS 39110.
