Pat Gordon Wann

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday September 14, 2010 from the Ridgeland Chapel of Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home. Visitation will be between the hours of 5-7 PM Monday after 10 AM Tuesday. Entombment will follow the service in Parkway Memorial Cemetery Trinity Mausoleum.

She was a loving mother to her daughter, Staci, devoted sibling to her sister, Saundra, faithful daughter to her parents, Bill and Travis Gordon, and lasting friend to anyone who knew her. She proved herself best in the way she cared for her parents during their final years.

Pat dedicated herself to the medical profession having served for almost forty years at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, St. Dominic’s Hospital, and her last position at the Mississippi Baptist Medical Center.

The best way to define Pat was in terms of her Christian faith, her deep love for her daughter, and her devotion to her three grandchildren, Will, Victoria, and Brady, whom she described as “the light of my life,” and whom they called “Mimi.”

Pat was a member of the Pinelake Church and lovingly served God and her fellowman with graciousness and generosity. She was deeply loved in return.

She is survived by her daughter, Staci, son-in-law William Watkins and their three children all of Brandon, her sister Saundra Gordon Keith and husband Jim, two nephews, Scott and wife Kelli, Todd and wife Suzanne, a niece Kristin and husband Rob Gillespie, six great nieces, Mallory, Hannah, Zoë, Eliza Jane, Sophie and Kendall, all of Dallas, Texas, and her beloved Madison-Ridgeland Class of 1970.
