Ricky J.G. Wynn

Survivors include wife of 43 years, Vickie; son, Scott (Libbe); grandson, Ricky Colton Wynn; mother-in-law, Rita Vinson; sister, Gay Gipson (Larry); brothers, Ted (Anne) and Lyle (Patricia).

His family would like to thank everyone who participated in his care, with a special thanks to Dr. Jennifer Eubanks.

Ricky was preceded in death by his parents, Ned and Gladys Wynn.

He was a graduate of Central High School and Mississippi College. He attended New Orleans Baptist Seminary.

Ricky worked in manufacturing management for 37 years and recently as a data analysis manger with MDOT.

He was a member of the Craftsman’s Guild of Mississippi, Mississippi Forge Council and Alabama Forge council.

He was an ordained minister and deacon who’s calling in life was service to the deaf. He volunteered at Broadmoor Baptist church as a teacher, interpreter and leader for many years.

In Lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Broadmoor Baptist Church or the Mississippi Craftsman’s Guild.

A visitation will be held at Parkway Funeral Home on Saturday January 30, 2016 from 3:00pm until 5:00pm. A funeral service will be held at Parkway Funeral Home, Sunday January 31, 2016 at 2:00pm with a visitation one hour prior. Burial will follow at Parkway Memorial Cemetery.
