

Robert Earl (Bob) Bullock, 66, died on April 9, 2014, at the Arbor in Ridgeland, MS. Bob was born on July 30, 1947, in Jackson, MS to Clarence Earl Bullock and Mary Evelyn Sorter Bullock. He was a graduate of William B. Murrah High School, Class of 1965. He graduated from Mississippi State University in 1969 with a degree in accounting. While at State, he enjoyed the brotherhood of Pi Kappa Alpha and continued relationships with his Pike brothers throughout the years. Bob was retired from Bullock Construction Company, where he was owner and president. During his years in the construction industry he was very involved in Associated General Contractors of Mississippi, serving in the capacity of president and in other leadership positions. He was a founding member and served on the board of Comptrust AGC of Mississippi. Bob attended Christ United Methodist Church. He was a devoted, loving father and husband known for his kindness and contagious sense of humor.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Bill Sugg, of Atlanta, Georgia. He is survived by his wife, Cathy Bullock; children Seth Bullock (Rochelle) of Houston, Texas, Alexis Showah (Justin) of Water Valley, Mississippi, Sarah Hensley Abbott (Wes) of Montrose, Colorado, and Olivia Terenzio (John) of San Francisco, California; five grandchildren; and two sisters, Collie Sugg of Atlanta, Georgia and Pat Williams of Jackson, Mississippi.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 3:30 p.m. at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home, Ridgeland. Visitation will be held from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Interment to follow at Parkway Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made in his memory to the Alzheimer’s Association, The Juvenile Diabetes Association, or American Cancer Society.
