Wei Yi “Joe” Zhou, 51, passed away Thursday, April 9, 2015. Visitation will be 1:30–2:30 pm, Saturday, April 11, at Chinese Christian Church of Greater Jackson on Old Agency Road in Ridgeland, followed by a funeral service at 2:30 pm. Burial will be at Parkway Memorial Cemetery.
Joe was born June 9, 1963 in GuangDong, China. He came to America in 1989 at the age of 26. Two years later, he married his beloved wife, Cathy Cao. After establishing his skills as a chef, he became the owner of his own restaurant, Golden China, in Flowood, MS. He was a devoted father and husband to his family, and he will be greatly missed.
Joe is survived by his wife, Cathy Zhou; daughter, Hannah Zhou; and numerous extended family members.
