William "Blake" Holland

William “Blake” Holland, 34, of Mount Dora, Florida passed away on Thursday, August, 11, 2011. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home in Ridgeland with visitation preceding the service at 2:00 PM.

Blake was born on November 3, 1976 in Pensacola, Florida. He attended St. Theresa’s Catholic School and Chamberlin-Hunt Academy. He has resided in Atlanta and Orlando since 1996. Blake loved traveling, music and cooking, his dream being to win a spot on the Food Channel’s Top Chef. He loved the outdoors and his cats.Blake is survived by his parents, mother, Jackie May Holland Berkley of Mt. Dora, Florida and father and step- mother, William Marion Holland and Diane Bates Holland of Pearl; sister, Lisa Holland Sizemore (Steve) of Windermere, FL; maternal grandmother, Johnette May of Madison; aunts and uncles, John Holland of Fairhope, AL, Max Holland of Raymond, Mona Holland Slaton of Raymond, George Holland of Mobile, AL and Rose May Nutt of Clinton. He is also survived by a host of step-brothers and sisters, nephews, cousins, and friends.He is predeceased by his grandparents, John R. Holland (1997), Irene Marion Holland (2006),both of Jackson and Robert Lamar May (2001), of Madison, Mississippi.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hospice Facility of your choice.
