

He was born in Jackson, MS to the parents of Odessa and A.Y. Williams. He is survived by his wife of nearly 50 years Merle Clark Williams; son Todd Williams (Amy), daughters Donna Price (Steve), and Sheri Hutton (Randal). He was grandfather to six wonderful grandchildren: Wes and Destin Price, Carlee and Blayne Williams, and Brandon and Justin Hutton. He also leaves a sister-in-law Carolyn Allen, and two nieces and a nephew.
Bill graduated from Mississippi College after attending Jackson Public Schools. He retired from Renfrow Insulation where he served as sales/supervisor . He was a member of First Baptist Church Madison and a former member of Daniel Memorial Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and Sunday School teacher.
Bill loved his family and cherished times with them. Although cancer had kept him from travel and doing some things that he loved, he still enjoyed cooking, fishing, boating, and working in the yard.
Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 -7:00 at Wright and Ferguson Highland Colony Parkway in Ridgeland. The service will be Saturday at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church in Madison with a brief visitation at the church at 9:00 AM
