James Errell Adkins

Co., on January 22, 1945 to the late Archie Grady Adkins and Bertha Lillard Adkins. He had worked for more than seventeen years with Tultex in the finishing dept before

becoming disabled.

He is survived by two daughters, Tammy Austin of Ridgeway and Tina Collins of Bassett, five sons, James E. Adkins, Jr., of Ridgeway, Christopher Michael Adkins of

Wise, Andrew J. “Andy” Adkins of Patrick Springs, John W. Collins of Bassett and James King of Ridgeway three brothers, Booker Daniel Adkins of Stuart, Robert Lee

Callahan of Eden, NC and Archie Jackson Atkins of Indiana, twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held 2p.m. Thursday, September 9, 2010 at Henry Memorial Park with Pastor Wendell Sparrow officiating. The family will receive friends one

hour prior to services in the Community Funeral Service Chapel in Ridgeway.
