Jimmie Lee Weddle

Jimmie Lee Weddle, 71, of Collinsville, died Sunday, May 8, 2011, at Memorial Hospital of Martinsville. He was born in Henry County on December 1, 1939 to the late Clinton Johnson Weddle and Claudia M. Stone Weddle. He had worked for more than twelve years with Merita Bread CO. as a route delivery person. He was of the Baptist Faith. He loved auto racing.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by wife, Patricia Ann Weddle.

Surviving are four daughters, Regina Claudette Weddle, of Lake Lure, NC. Stephanie Lee Weddle and Tiffany Lynn Weddle both of Collinsville and Nikki Victoria Weddle of Ridgeway, one step-daughter, Phyllis Hawks of Kernersville, NC, three sisters, Betty W. Gray of Danville, Linda W. Barbour of Martinsville and Rachel M. Weddle of Bassett, eight grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 11, 2011 in the chapel of Community Funeral Service of Ridgeway with Kelly G. Ratcliff officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services in the Community Funeral Service chapel.
