Ronda Hale Peters

Ronda Hale Peters, 45, of 706 West Lee Road, Taylors, South Carolina, died Friday April 12, 2013 at her residence. She was born in Henry County on March 13, 1968 to Vernon Wesley Peters, Sr., and Maybelle Boyd Peters of Ridgeway. Ronda served as a registered nurse for seven years until she became disabled. She was a faithful member of Grace Community Bible Church in Simpsonville, South Carolina.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Herald and Roxie Hale Peters; her maternal grandparents, William Isaac and Gracie Rhodes Boyd.

In addition to her parents she is survived by four sisters, Jean Peters Thomas of Greenville, South Carolina, Jane Evelyn Peters of Martinsville, Ruth Peters Thomas of Martinsville and Rebecca Peters Fugel of Simpsonville, South Carolina, six brothers, Daniel Peters of Ridgeway, Vernon Wesley “V.W.” Peters, Jr., of Ohio, Timothy Dean Peters of Winston Salem, North Carolina, William David Peters of Yadkinville, North Carolina, Kenneth Arnold Peters of Troutdale, Virginia and Leslie Wayne Peters of Ridgeway, several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Life Service will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at Grassy Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Neal, Rev. Steve Thomas and V.W. Peters officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends two hours prior to services at the church.
