Bettie Marie Jordan

BETTIE MARIE JORDAN (nee WILSON) 1921 ~ 2011 Born 08/16/1921 in La Hunta, CO to Ray and Mary Jane Wilson. Bettie moved to Riverside with her family and graduated from Poly High School in 1938. She met, fell in love and married Elwyn "Bud" Jordan on March 9, 1942. Bettie was predeceased by her husband, Elwyn Jordan. She is survived by her sister, Mary Globokar; brother, Jim Wilson; two daughters, Linda & Janet; three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren Bettie lived a full and happy life; she had a passion for knitting and loved spending time with friends at Knit-N-Stitch. She was an avid worker of crossword puzzles, enjoyed playing games and above all, loved spending time with her family and friends. Bettie went to join her loved ones on Tuesday, May 10, 2011. At her bedside were loving daughter Linda, son-in-law Charlie, grandson Chuck, his wife Xanne, and her extended family, The Henrys. Whether you called her Mom, Nana or Bettie; she was loved by many and will be missed by all! Visitation Sunday, May 15th at Acheson & Graham Mortuary, 7944 Magnolia Ave., Riverside, CA from 2-3PM (Family) and 3-5 PM (Public).
