I loved Uncle Bob for his calm and quiet ways.  I loved his laugh and how often he got a kick out of what other people did and said.  He saved my dog more than once because he was watchful and observant and while the dog wasn't the grateful sort- I sure appreciated him.  I always felt safe with Uncle Bob around.  My love to Carole, Deanna, Christopher, Caitlyn and Kelly.

I am saddened to hear of Uncle Bob's passing but share so many wonderful memories and experiences spending time with him and his family at the ranch during the holidays. He and his family were so welcoming to me into the Lantz family when Cristi and I were married. I know that Cristi, is nearby welcoming him home with a warm and loving embrace.

Andrew and I are so sorry that we are unable to attend the service in person. We are thinking of your all and sending you lots of love from TN. I really enjoyed all of the pictures of the family that you have shared and have been recollecting our visits to "the ranch" so fondly over the past week. Most of my memories of Uncle Bob are from the ranch...whether it was the big hugs he gave from his easy chair in the living room of his house when we would stop by to visit. Or at Christmas Eve dinners when grandpa would lead all of the Lantz men in the annual ritual of eating pickled herring. Uncle Bob was always happy to see you and that is how I will remember him.

Please accept our sincere and heartfelt condolences on the loss of your beloved husband and father.My memories go back so many years to the early years of kids playing between our houses. Good times and good memories. He will be sorely missed but I know his memory will live on in all his loved ones and friends. May his memory be a blessing.

I was very saddend to hear the news of Bob's passing. I have very fond memories of our time together. He always had a smile and was nice to me despite my decision making abilities as a teenager. Bob taught me about responsibility and hard work. I saw what he was able to achieve with both. Some of my fondest memories are of the trips to the river. If you never saw Bob ski than you missed out. He could really lay it down. He would even let me drive the boat sometimes and as a kid, it didn't get much better than that. He also taught me how to back up a trailer which has been a very important life lesson that I have used countless times. Some people impact your life and Bob was one of those for me. The Lantz's took me in as family and I am forever grateful. My thoughts and prayers are with you Carole, Linda, and De.

We didn't know you Mr. Lantz but we have seen many pictures of you having fun with your family. If you were anything like your daughter Linda then we know you were a special man.

I have many fond memories of Uncle Bob.Lot's of holidays and trips out to the "ranch" as my dad called it. I am so very happy that I got to spend some time with both Bob and Carole when they came out to Austin in November.  It was so sweet to watch Uncle Bob play trucks with Miles on the couch. I will always have that memory, and I am thankful for that. I am sorry that Miles and I are not able to come out and be with you all during this time, but I send you all my love and you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Bobby was a special man.  We were so pleased to see him at Jim Kross's funeral.  Doss has such great memories of the river  & beach with Bobby.

We are so sorry for your loss.  Bobby's journey through life, left footprints where ever he went, footprints of kindness, love, courage, compassion, humor,inspiration, joy & faith.  Even when he is gone we can still look back & clearly see the trail he left behind.  Take comfort in your memories.

I was so saddened when I learned about Bob's passing. You always expect people to always be there and for things to continue on as they are supposed to, but life doesn't seem to work that way.  Bob was such a friendly and kind and quiet man -- he will truly be missed.

I liked Bob a lot. He was a very nice man. Sorry to hear of his passing. Our prayers are with you & your family.

I remember him well.  Sleepovers at Linda's were  a regular thing when I was in high school.  Carl was always kind and funny when I was there; he treated me like he had an extra daughter in the house. I'm sending my love and prayers from North Carolina.

You will be missed Bob.  Bob and I are so happy we were able to know you.  You were a great neighbor - so friendly with that big smile,and we always enjoyed visiting with you and Carole.  Rest in peace....
