Dear Grandma, I still cant believe this is real. Words can’t fully express how much I miss you. I will always remember your love, your kindness, your wisdom, and your gentle presence that warmed every soul that you encountered. Although you are no longer here with us physically, I can feel your spirt with me every day. You have now become a beautiful angel, watching over us from up above!
Thank you for all of the love that you poured on to me from the stories you told a me, the hugs, the laughter, the kisses, listening to me play music and especially back tickles haha!! You taught me what it means to love deeply and to care without limits. I will forever carry your memory with me always, every time I smile, every time I love, a part of you lives on in me. Rest peacefully, my beautiful angel. You are forever in my heart.

I remember fondly our sleepovers , we were the very closest of friends and cousins to beat that!  My brothers and I spent all the time we could  there together , because we could do whatever we wanted ant Aunt Betty and Uncle Gary’s house.  He would give us a quarter each to walk to the Lakewood Mall, just Cindy and I, my best friend, and confidant.

No puedo prometer que no voy a llorar, de echo ya lo estoy pues como puedo decir adios si apenas empezamos a entendernos muy bien? Tu Ingles y yo español pero esa barrera de lenguaje la violamos en cada encuentro. Tu hijo llego y se convirtió en el mío, mi hija llego y se convirtió en tu hija y tu y yo en una gran amistad que el mundo pensaría fue limitada pero no, no lo fue a si, pues tuvimos a dos cómplices que perfeccionaron nuestros mundos, unos mundos distintos que por ellos se convirtieron paralelos. Esos momentos de angustia como cada madre, compartimos dolor, compartimos alegria, compartimos dias de lluvia y compartimos sol. Muchos soles en playas lejanas y en albercas vecinas. Disfrutamos de lasagna y disfrutamos de carne asada. Te gusto mi cocina y a mi me gusto compartir momentos alado de ti en cualquier mesa. Como decir adios? Una sonrisa brindo en este momento para que tomes una fotografía mas y lleves contigo siempre esta expresión que tu inspirabas en mi. Tuvimos momentos inolvidables, recordando unos tan hermosos y otros que no son posible contar, una por que son colorados y la otra razon por que me pondré a llorar, a un mas. Esto quiere decir que físicamente no estas pero conmigo siempre permanecerás. Sere tu amiga y a si como en las fotografías, te abrazare siempre y muy pronto nos vemos en Hawaii, oh alado de la alberca en un verano mas. Descansa En Paz, eternamente my dear friend, my dear Cindy. Say Cheese.... Beutiful smile.

Gosh where do I start..Grandma you are truly missed by all of us, may you rest in peace. I want to recognize your love and care for each and every one of us. No matter the circumstances you always choose us. The biggest supporter we all know, we appreciate you forever. You were such an amazing Grandma and I'm sure I speak for many, but not only were you our Grandma you were our glue. I remember all the times you had me and the girls and spoiled us like no other with your never ending love, I’m sure all of us at one point felt so special because Grandma would not hesitate one second to be there for us. She was our home, our storyteller, and the heart of the family. Her love for her family was full. I will forever miss your stories and will cherish your keepsakes as they meant the world to you. I LOVE YOU GRANDMA!! You will remain alive forever in our hearts.

Grandma I just want you to know that I love you so much and thank you for always making my 14 years of life so special and always telling me that I am your favorite even though you said that to everyone I still felt special in a part in your heart. Thank you for spoiling me in my life even though you didn’t have to but you would always just say it’s “my money and I want to spend it on you” . Thank you for when my mom passed you wanted to take care of me even though you guys needed help. Thank you for always being there  after my mom passed away,  it felt like she never left because of you but after you passed it felt like I lost both of my best friends. But hopefully in another lifetime, I’ll be able to get to see you,  my mom and everyone else and we can all hangout together and laugh all together. I hope you will watch over me and make sure I am doing good in life. I love you grandma may you rest in peace ‘till we meet again.

“She sits there loud, but quiet are her thoughts. She is many words, but in silence she speaks. I can clearly remember, my best memories were her walls, many words, thousands, millions I assure you. Pictures filled her walls, wall after wall of pictures that spoke many stories, many memories. Families and strangers alike. I was finally included and I for once was a word that didn’t need to be said. I was hanging from a nail and there my image was. I was leaning on the heal of a picture frame and my smile said Loudly I was there. She spoke of every one that became a stand-still in her pictures. She, soft spoken, adventurer, loud joy, sparkled eyes, skin vanilla soft. Time becomes captive in her pictures and they become beautiful memories on her wall, and only the very special Can still be found on her mind. Wind soft hiding between her hair. The palm of her hand can be a book of many pages. Her suffering is quietly resting in her heart, her shine is becoming fade but those that know her remember her brightness, diamond she is. Sharp edges but soft and the most warmest hugs. She sits there and God tells me to look at her timeless and He whispers at my ear “isn’t she beautiful?”… “

Will miss you Aunt Cindy. You took me like another child not a cousin . I remember your sweet jesters & jiggle it was so sweet. Weekend looking for 00 jeans ,  cats in dryers & just hanging for fun. Don’t forget family fun in the dessert. I love you much & will miss you ton . Brenda
