David Joseph Irwin, 27, of Norco, Ca. passed away on July 11th, 2016 in a fatal motorcycle accident in Santa Barbara, Ca. on his way home from the FIM Superbike Championship that was held at the Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca near Monterey, Ca. where he had spent the last 4 days watching the racing and riding a lot of open highway with his friends.
He was born in Anaheim, Ca. on February 6, 1989, son of Jack and Janette Irwin. He was formally engaged to Shaina Lolin on May 3rd, 2016 and is survived by his siblings Jessica, Kristina and Joshua Irwin as well as many Aunts’, Uncle’s, Niece’s, Nephew’s and Friends.
David was working on an International Business degree at California State University Fullerton and Japanese as a second language with one more year to complete. He completed 2 AA degrees at Riverside Community College Norco. A graduate of Norco High School, Norco Intermediate School and Riverview Elementary.
Right after graduating High School in 2007 David joined the Marines and was discharged with a General with Honor’s. He then continued his education and worked full time first starting at Target as Store Security, Distribution Center Security and then Team Leader. His current position was working for Home Depot in their Ontario Distribution Center as a Maintenance Worker/Lead. Where his Supervisor told me that David was his go to guy and he would load up David’s plate knowing everything would be completed without any complaints.
David had many passions in life. He most of all loved riding motorcycles. He joined a group of serious riders where he was the youngest rider. They did meet once year at the racetrack he was coming home from and they have many stories of the past years of riding with David. He also was a major gamer of online games where he did meet many people all over the world. As of late he started his Pokémon collecting and playing it with his Friends. So please join the Family in celebrating this amazing young man.
