With heavy hearts and profound love, we announce the passing of a truly remarkable woman, taken from us far too soon at the age of 53. Born on February 2, 1972, she often joked that she was born on “2/2/72” and that there were always “two of her”—a reflection of her larger-than-life personality and the unbreakable bond she shared with her twin sister.
She was a sweet, vibrant, and beautifully “crazy” soul who lived life fully and authentically. She found her greatest peace outdoors—whether at the beach with the sound of the waves, hiking under open skies, or simply being in the presence of animals she adored. Her heart was immense, especially for those in need. She gave selflessly to the homeless community, offering not just help, but dignity, compassion, and love.
A tireless worker, she worked every single day of her life and embodied strength, resilience, and determination. She was a woman who showed up—for her family, for her community, and for anyone who needed her. Her legacy is one of service, grit, and an unwavering willingness to give.
She was the proud and devoted mother of her sole daughter, Taelor. She was also a loving aunt to her two nieces, Kayla and Holly, who were like bonus daughters to her, and to her three nephews, Nick, Seth, and Eddie, each of whom held a special place in her heart.
She is survived as well by her beloved twin sister, Donna—her lifelong partner in mischief, strength, and love. The two were inseparable, always teaming up to face life’s challenges together. Their bond was rare, powerful, and unbreakable. She is also survived by her parents Gary and Diane Myrick, her older sister Kimberly Myrick-Hill and brother Gary Myrick Jr.
Recently, she was baptized, an achievement she was deeply proud of and spoke of with joy. It was a meaningful chapter in her spiritual journey and a testament to her faith and personal growth.
Though she is no longer with us physically, her presence remains everywhere—in the ocean breeze, in the trails she loved, in acts of kindness, and in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her. She will live on through our memories, our prayers, and the love she so freely gave.
She will be deeply missed, endlessly loved, and forever remembered.
A memorial service will be held at Pierce Brothers Crestlawn Mortuary, located at 11500 Arlington Ave, Riverside, California, 92505, United States. The service is scheduled for January 3, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
