

He graduated from Orange High School on June 11, 1970. After graduating from Orange High School, he joined the United States Army, in which he proudly served 9 ½ years. While in the army, he worked in the postal service. After leaving the army, he went to work for the United States Postal Service. He worked for the Anaheim Post Office for 27 years and retired on October 31, 2009.
On March 3, 1973 Donald Ralph Black married Pamela Kay Noonan in Las Vegas, NV while on leave from the army. On October 1, 1975, he welcomed his first daughter Patty in Tucoma, WA. On February 10, 1978, he welcomed his second daughter Michelle on a military base in Germany. He had four grandchildren, Rebecca, Joseph, Nicole, and George.
He enjoyed fishing, camping, but most of all his family. He was very loving, caring, and outgoing person willing to go the extra mile to help anyone that needed help. His grandchildren were the center of his life and he enjoyed spending all his time with them as he can.
On September 24, 2012, Donald Ralph Black passed away in Riverside, CA. He was survived by his daughters Patty and Michelle. He was survived by his grandchildren Rebecca, Joseph, Nicole and George. He was also survived by his sister’s Marlene and Diane. Donald Ralph Black will be greatly missed by his family.
Services will be as follows: Visitation on Monday, October 1, 2012 from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and a Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. all at Pierce Brothers Crestlawn Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Riverside National Cemetery at 1:P.M. on Van Buren BLVD Riverside California.
