Frank Granado passed away peacefully at home on June 10, 2023. Frank served in the United States Army, during the Korean war era, and was a member of the American Legion Joe Dominguez Post 742 for 35 years. He married Mary in 1956 and bought a home in Riverside, CA, where he raised his family. He was a truck driver for over 45 years. He could often be found strumming his guitar and singing along to his beloved Trios music. In his younger more active days, he was an avid reader of the daily newspaper, enjoyed taking apart and putting together his 1949 Ford Pick-ups, studying World War II history, and cracking open a “cold one”. Dad loved his family fiercely. He could be counted on at family gatherings and treasured the company of his cousins and compadres. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Mary, his children Raymond Granado, Monica Granado, Lisa (Steve) Sweeney, Lydia (John) Hanley. He leaves behind his brother Robert, sister Helen, and sister in law, Lancha. He will be greatly missed by his 8 grandchildren: Dani, Ryan, Savannah, Steven, Cassandra, Carlie, Madison, and John. He also had 3 great-grandsons and 2 great granddaughters. Keep on Truckin Dad, we love you.
