
GERALDINE SKELTON CAMARANO November 13, 1928 - September 5, 2013 Age 84, lifelong resident of Riverside, passed away peacefully to be with Heavenly Father after a long courageous battle with heart and kidney failure w/COPD. She survived by daughter Lynda Gay Huntley, brother David Skelton, granddaughter Heather Danielle Huntley, and grandson Jacob Russell Seefeldt. She was an icon within the community for her music and voice studio. She also joined forces with her daughter Lynda Gay's School of Dance & Performing Art School and together they put on a fabulous music and dance productions! Geraldine was a renowned opera star who was the protégé of the international soprano star Marcella Craft in which there is a memorabilia collection at the Riverside Metropolitan Museum. She sang many leading grand opera rolls that she was taught by Marcella Craft and performed with the San Francisco, San Diego and Riverside opera companies. The funeral service will be at 1:30pm Saturday September 14 at The Church of Latter Day Saints 16930 Via Los Cabelleros, Riverside CA 92504. Interment will follow where she will be laid to rest in a dual dedication of the grave with her husband Jerry at the Pierce Bros. Crestlawn Cemetery 11500 Arlington Ave. Riverside CA 92505.
