Helmut Willi Gubler entered into life on January 18, 1929 in Germany. With much sorrow, he entered into rest April 7, 2017. After moving from Germany, he traveled from the east coast and made his way to L.A. While working for the German Consulate, Helmut befriended his building’s elevator operator, Connie. Over the upcoming months, they grew to know each other with the mini moments they shared each day in the elevator together. Falling in love, they married later that year. Helmut was a proud cabinetmaker. He and his wife were members of Riverside County for the past 20 years. He will be dearly missed, by all those whose life he touched.
