

Henry "Kito" Hernandez, born on April 24, 1938, in Texas, passed away on November 24, 2025, at the age of 87. A beloved resident of Chino, California, Kito was known for his generosity, humor, and wisdom. These qualities made Kito a cherished presence amongst family and friends.
Born as the big brother to eight siblings, Kito exemplified a spirit of responsibility and care from a young age. Throughout life, Kito remained hard-working and set an example for others to follow.
A proud and diligent individual, Kito owned a successful business and was very proud of this achievement, adhering to the philosophy of being one's own boss. Forever teaching family the trade, Kito always remained loyal and open, imparting skills with patience.
In personal life, Kito was more than just a family member; Kito was a pillar of strength and love. Kito was the proud parent of five children, many girls cherished and regarded as daughters, alongside being loved deeply as a grandfather to eleven grandchildren and thirty great-grandchildren. He would never brag about this, but he was the favorite TIO to many nephews and nieces.
Kito’s life wasn't all work, with a passion beyond the job for salsa dancing. Kito was an avid fan of the Raiders, Dodgers, and Lakers. Known off the dance floor for making a legendary breakfast, pancakes being a notable favorite.
The passion Kito put into living translated into a loving legacy, not only manifesting through family but in physical structures too. Be it providing care, dedication, or ensuring things were built, fixed, and explained thoroughly, Kito left a mark, seen and unseen.
Expressions of gratitude echo from Kito’s heart to all who've shared in kind words, encouragement, and prayers. Honesty, loyalty, and a blend of simplicity and affection carried through aspirations enshrined both in stories, and footsteps carried keenly by all who were touched by Kito's journey.
Loved dearly, the memory and lessons left behind ensure Kito remains a living part of the lives carried on through family, friends, and in the beautifully structured homes Kito influenced deeply.
