

Jann accepted Christ at a young age. She was a member of Riverside Faith Temple Ministries where she attended until her health diminished.
She was a caring and unselfish person that was loved by many. She helped feed, clothe, and house those in need. She loved children and was a babysitter for many families. She was a woman of strength, grace, kindness, and love. Jann loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a true matriarch for her family. She was known as daughter, sister, aunty, mother, big mama, granny, and greaty grand. Her favorite song to sing was “Nothing can separate us from the love of Christ.”
Jann was employed by Doctor and Mrs. Hankins. She helped raise their three children.
Jann was married to Charles Hervey Sr.; they had three children: Daniel Ray Hervey, Barbara Jean Hervey and Charles Hervey Jr.
Jann was preceded in death by her husband Charles Hervey Sr. She later married Elder M. T. Anderson who also preceded her in death.
Also preceding in death was her daughter Barbara Jean Hervey, brother Henry Lee Williams and twin sister Ann Leatha Williams.
Jann leaves to cherish her memories, Son Daniel R. Hervey, daughter-in-law Joyce Hervey, son Charles Hervey Jr.; grandchildren Nathaneal T. Hervey, Joycel L. Hervey, Caleb A. Hervey, Chastity F. E. Johnson, Charles E. Hervey III, and Jordan N. Hervey, great grandchildren: Destiny Serah L. Hervey, Jabin A. S. Hervey-Tucker, Faith T. M. Akinsanya, Xavier M. Hervey, Lei’Lani R. Baker and Kaidence B. Baker, an uncle, Charles Samuel Jackson and a host nephews, nieces, adopted sons and daughters in the Lord, as well as countless others whose lives she touched.
