Jesse was a great friend to me and he helped me through some tough times. He was a great person as a hole and he was a important person to me. My saying for stuff like this is "until we meet again" it's not different than this time. I miss you and I can't wait until I see you again.

Jesse, you were one nice and funny guy I gotta say. You’ve made me laugh and feel happier whenever I’ve felt down. I miss you a lot.

Im still trying to understand how this happened I’m still in shock I always think about you and when we started to talk to each other every day laughing in the back of the class just not worried about anything I’m still thinking about the first day that we became friends helping you with your problems just being ourselves even though people always thought that we were weird but we didn’t care we had us I’m just still not able to process this and it’s just wrong to see you gone like that every time I laugh at something I think about you and me laughing again every single day it’s never going to be the same with you gone I’m just sad that you’re gone I wish I could see you for one more day just to talk to have fun but I won’t be able to ever again it’s just sad I’m just not able to do anything anymore I just stay in my bedroom trying to get out but i don’t I never do it’s just hard with out you bro you’re the most funny chill over the top goofy guy that’s just great I’m glad you felt happiness I would have loved to see you and you’re girlfriend get married like you would always say you guys were so cute I’m glad that I helped you guys talk it’s been so hard without you I can’t believe your gone you made this year so fun I wish I would have seen you graduate find the love of your life and everything else it’s just weird without you I can’t even take the news in but you’re in a better place I’m glad I was your best friend and a lot of people moved on but I didn’t I happy that your in a better place nobody will ever replace you.

Jesse's death shock me so much I found out the day after and it took my spark away. He made me feel so loved I've never had someone so kind and loving. He made me and everyone around him so happy, he was the light to all of our days, it breaks my heart to know that the one guy that ever treated me right is gone, I just really hope he will be okay up there. We all miss you jesse I wish you where here again I'd hug you and never let go, I loved and still do love you, I'm sure your family is just as sad, I'm really heart broken. I hope you watch over us all because it's really hard without you by my side. You where my first actual love I've never had someone like you, I made so many memories with you. I just wish you could've stayed. Really I don't think I'll ever get my spark back, I always look for you in people now, but no one will ever be you. I promise I'll keep going for you, and I will stay with God. I'll never forget the memories we made. Jeez everyone misses you come back already, I wish you could just tell me it all isn't true but it's okay I know it's not your fault, I just really can't accept that you are gone.

I’ve lived next door to Jesse’s Grandmother Barbera  for several years  and became friends with the whole Family. Jesse stood out because he had to walk by my front door, which was always open, to go to his Grandmas place and he always said hi to me as he passed. I believed we became friends, as much as a 74 year old grampa could with a teenager. I enjoyed our interactions and eventually we even exchanged Christmas gifts, and spent some time in our pool. He was quite the gentleman as he helped his Grandma, and  this loss is and will be devastating to all who got to share life with this amazing young man.

Jesse , you were a nice kid that take care of people. You always have a smile and make people laugh. One thing that I’m going to miss is  at family gatherings you always hug everybody. And saying hi I’m going to miss you. Love you lala

I’m sorry for what has happened to Jesse he was a brother to me and I was always there for him me and him were really close and good if he needed help I was there for him I miss him and god is watching out for him thank you for putting up this page to remember him.

A Letter to My Nephew

It took me a long time to write this because my mind still refuses to accept this reality. It’s like when a computer glitches and says: ERROR ERROR ERROR. That’s how my heart feels. You leaving us created a hole that can never be filled. Family isn’t the same without you. You were starting soccer, figuring out your style, growing into yourself. And damn, you always smelled so good! Your mom was so proud of you always saying how handsome you were and how you were stepping into your own style. She shared your playlist with me and Uncle Jordie… and wow. Those songs are beautiful. Thank you for leaving those pieces of you behind. If I had one wish, it would be to have you back and watch you grow. To see your soccer games, meet your girlfriend, meet your wife one day, and meet my grand-nieces and nephews. To see if they’d get those beautiful Asian looking eyes you had. To grow old and wrinkly together.
And I have to tell you this, I named you. Remember when you teased me saying, “Aunty, why do you have crushes in your late 20s?” and I told you, “You’re never too old to have a crush, okay?!” Well, joke’s on you, because you were named after one of mine. Your mom chose it because she saw the twinkle in my eye when I said your name. It fit you perfectly,  sweet, gentle, pure ann unforgettable. Losing you doesn’t make sense. I will always wish for one more hug, one more day, one more “Hi Aunty, I love you too.”
Thank you for your love, your hugs, the privilege of being your aunty, for the 13 years you blessed us with. You gave us joy, sweetness, and memories I will hold forever.
Like the song says, “I’ll tell you all about it when I see you again.” When I get to Heaven, I’m running straight to you. Get ready, because I’m going to hug you and squish you forever. Save us a spot right next to you.

Lord knows I’ve gotten used to being alone over the years nephew—wandering by my lonesome, letting my board take me somewhere interesting—but I’ve never felt lonely till now. These days I still wander, but it’s different now. I’m lost and don’t know where to go. I try do what I need to do each day, try to do what I used to enjoy but now it’s absent of passion and care. Its all just empty smiles and weak facades. I miss you man. Everything I’ve done it was to be worthy of the praise you gave me—lord knows I never felt worthy of it, I still don’t. I wanted to give you so much and show you so much, Jesse.

It feels like there’s no point to what I’m doing and no direction where I’m headed—just chasing achievements, success and dreams that mean nothing to me now. I know this is quite depressing nephew so I will tell you this:
I promise to keep trying to make you proud.
I promise to take care of your baby brother.
I promise to take care of your parents.
I promise to take care of Chris.
I promise to take care of the family.

Lastly, I promise to hold my chin up high till it can finally support the weight of my pain on its own.

I went to school with Jesse for a year or two and it was the best years ever at that school. He was always the light of the party and he made everyone laugh and smile. He was a very kind and caring friend as well and he always had everyone’s back.  He was always so positive and nice and always had something kind to say. Jesse made me feel good about my self and made school a fun and enjoyable place to go. Jesse I am going to miss you deeply and I love you ❤️

Jesse was such a great friend and I was honored to be able to spend my middle school years with him. He always managed to make my fiends and I laugh and have an amazing time. He was such a wonderful person and he loved the Lord so much. He will be forever missed and he will never be forgotten. I give my love and support to any other family friends. Jesse was an Amazing person and an even better friend. I had the amazing opportunity to share my middle school experience with him at Cornerstone and i couldn’t have asked for my experiences with him to have been any more special. Jesse was Kind, funny, smart, and he could be a bit reckless at times, but that made him who he was. I’m so sad and sorry to hear about the loss of such a great person. I’m sending love and Prayers to anyone and everyone who got to know what a unique person he was. You will forever be loved and missed Jesse

Man Jesse was a lot of things always nice never mean always smiling and having fun but the thing I liked the most about him was he was always there even if you were mean to him or were a bad friend to him he was always there always being a friend helping you out or being there when you just needed someone he was my best friend and even though it feels like he is gone forever it’s not a goodbye it’s a see you Later and I’m gonna miss him

We are so heartbroken to hear about your loss. My son Asher had the chance to know Jesse through soccer, and even though it was for a short time, he always spoke of how much fun they had together — joking around, laughing, and encouraging each other on the field. Jesse’s ’s joyful spirit and kindness left a lasting impression. Please know that our family is praying for you and holding you close in our thoughts during this very difficult time.

It took me some time to even write anything on here … I couldn’t even bring myself to open this to write anything for I was loss in words and in disbelief  … I knew eventually i would have to write something, because i wanted to … 
And now is the time, 
I was watching Big Bang Thoery the other day … and just brought tears to my eyes, memories of our Baaaaazinga days when you were smaller 🥹 and kept going as you got older lol … all because of my Sheldon poster that I had on my wall back then and you always found interest in it …

And as you got older, you were never to cool for it, your random “Paloma” me looking to you and you and you saying  “bazingaaa”  🥹

And how we finally established and you were FINALLY convinced after so long, that I’m Peanut’s Mom and not her sister  lol … 

Your little sweet voice will always be in my head, even though it was getting pretty deep there … 

Ooohhh Jesse … Jesse … whenever I think of you and  memories pop up, I’m forever going to still say “oohhh Jesse” and I’ll pop out a few Baziiingas here and there too 🥹 
You will be missed so much, family functions will definitely not be the same .. your spirit will be among us and we will always be amongst you!!

I’m so deeply sorry for your loss. Michael was lucky to have Jesse as a teammate, even if only for a short time. They shared many laughs together during practice and games. Jesse had a way of lifting others up and he pushed my son in a brotherly way to give his best. Jesse always played with such heart. His joy, effort, and sportsmanship left a lasting mark on the whole team. My heart goes out to your family and we are holding you close in our thoughts and prayers.

I told u u better stop tryong to be taller the me... if I knew that was the last time I saw u q i would have hugged u tighter i wish u was here to be tall like me

My heart shattered after hearing of this tragic news. My heart goes out to you and  your family.  Words cannot express the sorrow and pain your loved ones are feeling right now. The times we’d sing oldies in my car, the moments we’d wander searching for adventure, the days we’d skate side by side exploring, or even the simpler days we’d spend watching cartoons, movies, and gaming in my room.
We had so many plans and memories to make…
So much food to try, so much laughter to be had, and so many people to meet.
Now my passenger seat is empty, my room empty, no one skating by my side, no one to wander with, no joy in my day. I’m left with pain in my heart and lonely nights.
But, don’t worry my little nephew, I promise in the next life when God summons me home we will sing all newest songs I’ve found, we’ll wander God’s kingdom together, we’ll laugh for eternity, and embrace God’s love together. Our story isn’t over, 

I love you, I am proud of you, and I always admired you Jesse.
You brought joy, happiness, and laughter into my life, our memories will forever illuminate my darkest of nights little nephew. Our memories are the only things that bring joy now but these past 13 years you gave me will last a lifetime in my heart.
