Jessie Pasillas

Jessie Pasillas, age 93, passed away surrounded by her loved ones on Monday April 17, 2017. Jessie was born in Colton California on January 23, 1924. She was the daughter of the late Juan and Mary Pasillas. Jessie had many occupations but worked mostly as a presser at a dry cleaner. Despite long work days, she always made time for family. She enjoyed cooking big meals for many family gatherings and was loved by many. Jessie looked forward to every January to celebrate her birthday with all of her loved ones. Although she enjoyed watching baseball, her favorite sport to watch was wrestling. Those close to Jessie knew not to interrupt her during that time. If you did, you could find yourself put in a headlock!! Always full of life, you could count on Jessie to give you reason to smile, laugh, and live each day to the fullest just as she did.

Jessie is survived by her children; sons Ernie, Jimmy, and Johnny Kosterlistzky; Daughters Linda Sanchez, Jeanette Acevedo, Becky Rodriguez, Elaine Sawney, and Brenda Ramos. Jessie is preceded in death by sons; Ricky and Angel Sanchez, and Eddie Valle; and daughter Isabel Minchaca. Jessie had many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Services for Jessie will be held on May 2nd and 3rd, 2017. The wake will take place on May 2nd from 5pm-8pm at Crestlawn Memorial Park and Mortuary located at 11500 Arlington Ave Riverside, CA 92505. Mass will be held the following day on May 3rd at 10am at S. John The Evangelist Catholic Church located at 3980 Opal St. Jurupa, CA 92509 and immediately followed by a funeral service at Crestlawn Cemetery.
