JOHN R. MENDOZA A beautiful life that came to an end, John R. Mendoza passed away on November 19, 2011 at home surrounded by his family in Riverside, CA. John is survived by his loving wife of 32 years Angelina Mendoza and his special nieces and nephews; Rosalinda Perez, Cecelia Saenz, Patricia Jones Perez, Joe Perez, Jayson Perez and brother Robert Mendoza and other extended family members. He was a dedicated employee of Rohr Industries working there 30 years in various positions and retired on July 1994. During his time at Rohr he served as manufacturing General Manager over the Titan Program as well as Quality Assurance Manager over the F14 Program. He served in the Air Force for 6 years as an aircraft mechanic. After retirement he enjoyed working on his hobbies that were carpentry, automotive and special projects around his home. John loved working in his shop where he could enjoy his modified pickup truck and able to brainstorm new projects for his house. He loved the outdoors, taking photos of the kids and spending as much time as possible outdoors near the pool where he enjoyed cooking for his family during the summer to get everyone together. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am on Dec. 1, 2011 followed by the funeral service at 11:30am, both being held at Acheson & Graham Garden of Prayer Mortuary. The Committal Service will be immediately following the service at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Boulevard, Riverside, CA.
