Family was the most important thing to Leah. She was proud of her family and could often be seen at their various activities, events, and graduations. She was a fan of the Angels and enjoyed attending the games with family whenever possible. She was also unlikely to ever pass up a jelly donut or a strawberry milkshake.
Leah was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, James Morton Monroe. She is survived by her three children: Judith Lynne Monroe Reafsnyder (Greg), James Phillip Monroe (Elizabeth), and Patricia Anne Monroe-Mohrenweiser (Mark). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
A funeral service for Leah will be held Wednesday, August 2, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Acheson & Graham Garden of Prayer Mortuary, 7944 Magnolia Avenue, Riverside, California. Following the funeral service, a committal service will be held from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Olivewood Memorial Park, 3300 Central Avenue, Riverside, California.
