Lucille Marie Couste

Lucille Marie Fournier-Couste passed in her sleep on June 11, 2020 at the age of 101 years. Lucille was raised on a ranch in Oxnard California with her parents Pierre and Agnes Fournier. She married Ralph Couste in 1937 and moved to Riverside, where she lived for the past 82 years. Lucille and Ralph were married for 50 years. She raised two children Janet Couste-Janis and Gene Couste. After her children were grown, she worked as a Tailor for 20 years. Lucille loved to travel. She and Ralph drove all over the U.S. camping with their friends. After her husband passed she started traveling with friends and family abroad. She loved seeing new places and visited 6 different continents during her travels. Lucille was a very active in volunteer work during her later years. She was a great friend and grandmother. She lived a long active life and will be missed. Lucille is survived by her 7 grandchildren: Vicki Janis, Barbara Janis-Burtch, Jerri Janis-Moore, James Janis, Brandie Couste-Clark, Jon Couste, and Danny Couste. She also has 16 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren soon to be 7. We all loved you dearly grandma.
