Manuel was born on July 3, 1942, in Janamuato, Michoacᾴn and Adela Saavedra Lopez was born on September 19, 1946 also in Janamuato Michoacᾴn. They married February 6, 1965. They were 23 and 19 years of age. They lived in Orange from 1965 to 1982. They established residence in Riverside from 1982 until 2015. Manuel was a tool diemaker and then took a job in construction as a foreman. He retired in 2001. Adela was a fulltime homemaker.
