Riverside, California, who left this world peacefully in her sleep on Friday, June 6, 2025. Margaret’s final moments were filled with warmth and love as she was surrounded by family, a fitting farewell for a woman who dedicated her life to nurturing those around her. Born December 2, 1928, in Riverside, California, Margaret was a beacon of kindness and generosity. She married Bronlio Felix Lopez on February 19, 1949, sharing a deep bond until his passing on October 28, 2013. Together, they built a beautiful life marked by deep love and devotion. Margaret is survived by son Mark Lopez (Leeann Lopez); daughters Sandra Subia, Helen (Jim) Dela Tova, Sally (Steve) Felix, daughter in-law Dora Lopez, and also 17 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 10 great-great grandchildren; preceded in death by son Dennis Lopez (2008) Bronlio (Mac) Lopez Jr., (2019). Margaret leaves behind a brother Ygnacio Rivera, Jr. (Junie) many nieces, nephews and friends. Margaret was the cherished daughter of Ygnacio Rivera and Adelaida Franco Rivera, embodying their values of hard work and family throughout her life. She was often heard expressing concern for all of the families’ events, struggles, and overall well-being. She was a strong woman with a giant heart. Her home was warm and welcoming, adorned with her favorite emerald green, and filled with the delightful aromas of her cooking. Guests were always greeted with warmth and a plate of delicious food. Her talent for baking made her a sought-after creator of exquisite cakes for weddings and birthdays, allowing her to run a successful cake-making business from the comfort of her home. Margaret Lopez will be remembered not just for her delectable cakes and culinary talents, but for her incredible ability to connect with people through heartfelt conversations and neverending kindness. She leaves behind a legacy of love, warmth, and cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at Acheson and Graham Mortuary, 7944 Magnolia Ave, Riverside, CA 92503. Public viewing starts at 9:30 am, Rosary and Services at 11:30, private interment to follow for the surviving children of Margaret Lopez. A reception will be at Habanero Grill, 2472 University Ave, Riverside, CA 92507, at 1:30pm.
